The second round of the 2024 NBA playoffs has finally concluded. Much was learned following the advancement and eliminations of the remaining playoff teams. Starting in the Eastern Conference, the 1 Seed Boston Celtics eliminated the 5 Seed Cleveland Cavaliers in 5 games. The Celtics had the upperhand through out the series, as the Cavs were missing injured former All Star Center Jarret Allen for all 5 games played. The Cavs were a lot missing injured All Star Donovan Mitchell for games 4 and 5. The Celtics were missing injured former All Star Center Kristaps Porzingis, but his injury did not matter. The Celtics outplayed the Cavs in a gentelman’s sweep. The injuries got the worst of the Cavs, as they were outmatched by the Celtics. The 6 Seed Indiana Pacers eliminated the 2 Seed New York Knicks. The 2024 NBA Play In Tournament is a few weeks away from begining. These final weeks are crunch time for NBA playoff contending teams. With just a few weeks left, it has become clear which teams will be in the Top 6 in the Eastern and Western Conference. The possible Play In Tournament teams in the Eastern Conference include the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks. The possible Play In Tournament teams in the Western Conference include the New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, Sacremento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors. The final eight teams are set for the NBA In Season Tournament Knock Out Round. The Eastern Conference teams consist of the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks. The Western Conference teams consist of The LA Lakers, Sacramento Kings, New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns. The Bucks and Lakers finished the group round undefeated with 4-0 records. The rest of the qualified teams finished 3-1 in the their respective groups. In the Eastern Conference, the Celtics will Vs the Pacers in Boston and the Bucks will vs the Knicks in Milwaukee. In the West, the Lakers will vs the Suns in LA and the Kings will vs the Pelicans in Sacramento. It is best believed that final four teams will consist of the Bucks, Celtics, Suns and Kings. The NBA 2023-2024 has entered its fourth week into the new season. Every team has played at least 10 games to begin their seasons. A ten game sample size can say alot or very little when reflecting on a team’s success or failure. There are several NBA teams who are off to surprisingly good starts. These surprising teams include the Indiana Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder. The Atlanta Hawks and Minnesota Timberwolves are the only two previous playoff teams from the previous season. They are currenty playing more dominant and aggressive in their first 10 games. The Timberwolves have the number one league defense. Their star Anthony Edwards continues to take the next step towards super stardom. The Hawks have showed signs of being one of the best offenses led by their stars Trae Young and Dejounte Murray.
