Will the Chicago Bulls hit the reset button?

The Chicago Bulls have begun their 2023-3024 season poorly. They have played 15 games, holding a 5-10 record. The team has struggled scoring the ball and playing defense in their 15 game sample size. A potential rebuild could potentially be in the works if their season continues to spiral. A recent report suggests the Bulls front office willingness to trade All Stars Zach Lavine and DeMar DeRozan. It is strongly believed that Lavine is unhappy playing for Chicago and is welcoming a trade to the Miami Heat. DeMar Rozan is in the final year of his 3 year contract with the Chicago Bulls. He will become a free agent during the Summer of 2024. A rebuild is looking like the best option for the Bulls, who finished last season with a 40-42 record. The Bulls were bad enough to miss the playoffs but good enough to make the Play In Tournament. A rebuild would allow the Bulls to reset, gain draft picks and develop young talent. The Bulls could also look into trading role players Patrick Williams, Coby White and Alex Curuso. The Bulls schedule does not get any easier, as their next 10 opponents include the Okc Thunder, Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, New Orleans Pelicans, Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers and LA Lakers. As currently constructed, the Bulls will lose majority of those upcoming games. The NBA trade deadline is three months away. A reset could happen now, at the deadline or during the offseason. Will the Chicago Bulls make the right decision? Will the Bulls pivot from a reset? The next 10 games will determine a lot about the Chicago Bulls 2023-2024 season.
