Who are the winners and losers of the 2024 NBA Free Agency?
NBA free agency began less than 2 weeks ago. Several big name NBA players have signed to new teams in that time spand. Many NBA teams were also able to retain several of their pending free agents. The league is set up to look different heading into the 2024-2025 NBA Season. The biggest winnners in free agency include the Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings. The three teams gained much needed star power with the additions of former multi All Stars Paul George, Klay Thompson and Demar Derozan. These team have solidified themselves as championship contenders with the addition of star power and role players for the upcoming season. The biggest losers in free agency include the LA Clippers, LA Lakers, Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks. The Clippers and Lakers retained their own stars with the resigning of James Harden and Lebron James. The resignings were needed but they do not make the teams better.
